Did you know you can get a quality drone for under 100 USD? Looking for the best drones under 100 USD doesn’t mean you’ll end up with something that resembles a toy from a dollar store. In reality, there are a ton of decent, quality drones that will cost you less than 100 USD, are built to last, and will blow your mind.
Looking for a cheap drone is a great way to learn how to fly a drone if you’ve never flown one before, for example. You can actually get a drone that will learn and grow with you, so you never know what you’ll find when you invest 100 USD or more. Some of the drones I’m about to introduce you to are better than the more professional models, believe it or not!
Without any further introduction, let’s get to the good bits. In my review, I’d like you to remember that I’m going to be listing drones based on which are my top to my least favorites, so keep that in mind as you’re going through my review.
If you don’t see an answer to your question listed below in my FAQ section, let me know and I’ll do my best to give you one!
Be sure to read the FAA’s rules and regulations, click here for all the information you’ll need on registering your drone.
If you were required to register your drone and obtain a license then, yes, you absolutely have to carry it with you everywhere you go when your drone is in the air and you are at the controls.
Of course, you can! Drones can be used for nearly everything these days, such as capturing some footage as a photographer using a drone, for example. Drones pair incredibly well with just about any hobby or activity you can think of.

If you’ve had a chance to go over the rest of my site, then you’ll know that the AA108 by Altair Aerial is one of my favorite quadcopters out there. It’ll only cost you $130, which is an extremely great deal for the amount of value you’re getting with it. Yes, that’s over our 100 USD budget, but believe me, this is one of the best cheap camera drones I’ve seen thus far.
What I love most about the AA108 by Altair Aerial is the fact that their customer service is sublime. A lot of drone manufacturers have a tendency to fluff their customers off, even though they’re the ones literally keeping these companies in business, so it’s nice to know Altair Aerial have their customer’s backs when there’s an issue with their drone.
What I’m not a fan of, unfortunately, is that it doesn’t come with a memory card. Although, the manufacturer recommends that you get a 4 GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-1 memory card to suit the drone the best, which is nice, I suppose.

The UDI U818A by Force1 is one of the best drones under 100 with camera coming in at only $90. It’s the perfect drone for those who want a small camera drone with a lot to offer in the way of specs and minimal features.
What I love about the UDI 818A by Force1 the most is that you get all of these awesome features and specs all packed into one. Not to mention the maximum flight time and the extra battery included for free, too!
What I don’t like, however, is that it can be kind of a learning curve. Although, if you’re a beginner, this is actually a good thing! It’ll make transitioning to other drones an absolute breeze once you learn to handle this one.

For those on more of a strict budget than others, I highly recommend the H107L X4 by Hubsan. It’ll only cost you around $30, is a wicked quadcopter, and a personal favorite of mine where the best drones under 100 USD is concerned.
I love how the H107L X4 by Hubsan is a powerful little quadcopter. It’s got an awesome set up going on for such a little guy, not to mention the small price tag to go along with it!
What I’m not loving is how there is no deadset range available until you actually fly the thing, which is why I’m going to let you know to proceed with caution before you make your buy. If you want a drone with a long flight range, this one may or may not be for you.

The X5C by Syma is another great budget buy, coming in price as little as $35. It’s a superb bargain for beginners and experts alike, no matter what your skill level of flying a drone might be.
What I don’t like is how long it takes to charge the battery, over an hour of time, which is quite a lot for only 7 minutes of total flight time.

The Nano QX BNF by BLADE is an awesome little drone coming in at the price of only $50. It’s got some serious technology on board that you’d think you’d only see in the more professional drones, so it’s quite a surprising nano drone.
What I don’t like is how it doesn’t come with a transmitter and that you don’t really know the range until you have one of either compatible transmitters with it to see how far you can really push it. Be careful when you do, you don’t want to damage it or break it.

Small, cheap drones don’t mean that they’re garbage, as you now know. We’re in a time where even the most inexpensive drones are worth every penny because they’re made to last, have awesome specs, and some serious onboard tech.
